Due to the breakdown in our parents' marriage our mother felt that Jane would have a better future if she were adopted - she was the youngest of 6 children. I have recently obtained a copy of Jane's Birth certificate and she was registered as Gladys Joan (T***) which were our maternal grandmother's and our mother's names.I was 8 years old when Jane was adopted aged 1yr and I was totally devastated as at the time I had no idea about my mother's plans and came home from school to find she had gone. I think about her constantly and wonder if she is happy. - Jane - We had no control over you adoption out of the family. The decision at the time was taken in the belief that it would be in your best interests but mum never stopped loving you and as the oldest girl I helped to look after you and loved teaching you to walk which you did just before you left.I hope you see this and are able to contact me - you have a lovely family who are all dying to meet you.
