- I am looking for my brother .....I have been told I have an older brother that was adopted shortly after birth, my mum does not know I am aware of this and my younger sister also found a birth certificate stating a boy was born in 1982 by my mother and father ......the only name on the certificate is my mums maiden name which is Hitch**, also that he was born in Billinge, Lancashire in 1982 possibly November ...I do not want to ask my mum because I believe she has her own reasons for not telling us ....and must be a painful subject but I feel I need to find him as his my brother.
