- I only found out just over a year ago that I had a brother. I have grown up believing I am an only child to one day finding out that my mother had a child adopted. She had kept it buried for many years and was never really allowed to talk about it. I would just like to meet my brother if he is willing to and talk, and see what he looks like. I understand that he may have moved on mentally and may not want to meet me but I have this longing inside that will not go away.
