- I met your Romanian mother, Roxana Mwambu** (surname as of 1987) while I was studying in Bucharest in 1986. She left Romania and you were born in London in (September)1987. Upon your birth, your mother, who in the meantime had a British boyfriend of Romanian origin, sent me three baby photos. We kept calling eachother twice or even three times a week until she suddenly broke up the contact when I decided to come and see you in July 1988. And she has remained silent since then. I then sought help from the Zambian Embassy in London and much later, both the Red Cross in Germany and the British Authorities. But all was in vain. Hence, I am not certain if you were actually given away for adoption. The strong asumption is due to the fact that I know that you no longer lived with your mother the time I started making inquiries about your whereabouts. Ten years ago, I posted my particulars on the (general) net and I have heard nothing from you until now. That is why I am giving it a second try through the HMF! I am in London right now for the first time in my life, though I have been living in Germany since 1988. I hope you are all right despite all this..... I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND GOD BLESS YOU!!!
