- I would like any information regarding my Birth mother. I was born 9/8/1974 BMH Munster - Germany. Adopted: 26/3/1975 Epsom county court Adopters: Brian Anthony Aldridge - born 10/2/46. HM Forces - Delta Troop - 4 Squadron - 22 signal Regiment - BFPO 107 Lippstadt. Susan Heather Aldridge - born 25/1/47 My reasons for trying to find out about my Birth mother: I would like to know where I'm from basically. SSAFA had told my mum (Sue Aldridge) that Anne was married - had 3 sons already.Whether her husband was in the army or she isn't clear. She had an affair ( Birth father - probably not possible to find) and was told to go or give up the baby by her husband - thus her giving me up for adoption. She apparently at one stage changed her mind and wanted me back - but it had already gone to court...so neither my Birth mother or parents to be owned me. The court decided to give me to Mr & Mrs Aldridge. They then had to come over to England for the adoption to go ahead. I was fostered for the first 2 weeks before being handed over.
