- I am now 58 and for many years have wondered about my real mother. I have tried on several occasions to trace you but was never successful. Since knowing I was adopted I have always thought of you and wondered about you and had always hoped that one day I would meet you and get to know you. I wish you no malice at all I would just like to have known my real mum. Having children of my own I cannot imagine how hard a decison it was for you to give me up for adoption. I have always felt that being adopted is like having a piece of a puzzle missing and never really knowing my true self. My own daughter was born on the 13th february 1976.
