- The 2 daughters of Irene B****** (nee L****) who lived at Shepherds Villa Blackmore End Nr Braintree Essex in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Irene had a brother Ollie F**** L**** (also called Cyril) & I believe also another brother called Alf who was married but I know nothing else about him. They all lived in the Toppesfield area of Essex. Other addresses I have are Hawkes Hall Sible Hedingham and Nunnery Street Hedingham. Any information on Ellen R*** T*****''s family also as she married my grandfather Harry W****** L**** in I believe 1902. My grandfather was a gardner/jobbing/horseman. Ellen R*** was a cripple in her later years & died on 9th Sept. 1947? aged 65 at St Albright''s Hospial Stanway & is buried at St Nicholas'' Church Hedingham. She also had a sister whose married name was Mrs K P**** and a niece Mrs E******. My father Ollie L**** was born on 28.3.1907 at Gainsford End. Any information gratefully received

- I am trying to build a family tree of my father''s family. I can remember as a small child visiting Irene and her 2 daughters in the early to mid 1950s but we then seem to have lost touch completely. I do not know why. I think Irene would probably be gone by now but her children who would be mid to late 60s hopefully are still around. Have only just found that it seems there was another brother Alf that I never knew about - quite a surprise. It would be nice to get any information I can. My father was on the searchlights during the war & then in Norway in 1945 if that helps.
