- I was a very young nineteen year old - very niaeve - and very inexperienced. I became pregnant with my first boyfriend and under pressure from my parents had to give you up for adoption. I have never forgotten you especially since I have married and now have four grown up daughters and five grandchildren. All I would like to know is that you have been well cared for - well loved and have had a very happy and successful life. I am now nearly 65 years old and my health isn't good. I would just like to know about you - not necessarily having personal contact - whilst I am still alive so that I can be at peace with myself knowing that you have been cared for in the best possible way.
