- If anybody is able to give me any information on my mother I would be very grateful. Although I have no great hopes of being able to meet her anymore I would really like to know anything I can of her to build up some idea of who my Mother was and where she came from in Ireland and possibly to be able to trace any other relatives of hers - or even just to know exactly where she was from in Ireland .... to have some sense of identity. It is very hard to know nothing of either of your natural parents - your other siblings or your genetic background.... to feel so rootless and unattached in life.
