Mother\\'s name Muriel Ethel M******* - nee H******* - Bisley in Surrey. Jennifer Ann is my full sister - but we were adopted by different people. Our father\\'s name is not on Jennifer Ann\\'s Birth cert. but it is on mine. We were both born in Woking Maternity Hospital.Targets Place of Birth: Woking - SurreyFurther Details: Mother was married with three children. Her husband was overseas for several years. The relationship with our father was of around three years duration. Our father was a Canadian soldier posted at Knaphill Barracks. Shortly after my sister was born our father was posted to Europe and our mother\\'s husband came back to England. He agreed to keep the marriage going if the two Canadian children were adopted. Our mother could not contact our father as the army would not tell her where he was. She had no alternative but to have us adopted as she had no income of her own - nor anywhere else to live. Her marriage subsequently broke up and she had to move away. When our father came back from Europe he could not find her and was forced to return to Canada without us. He never gave up searching for us and passed the search on to his subsequent children in Canada when he died. I am in contact with them - and with our mother\\'s other children. We are all searching for this one sister. I was able to find our father\\'s family because his name was on my Birth cert. She will not be able to as it is not on her cert. If our father had been able to find us his Canadian wife was willing to adopt us so we could have grown up with at least one of our Birth parents. I have a letter from her to this effect.
