I have tried to trace her for many years - as yet I have been unsuccessful. It is believed that Ellen moved around in the hotel trade after she left Linden House - a home for ex service women (Ellen had been in the WRAC). The Forces Help Society would have been involved in placing Ellen at Linden House - but I think it closed down soon after WW11
