- Steven - I was fifteen when you were born and you were very much loved by both your father and myself. I was tricked by your grandmother into leaving you and I fought all the way to the Old Bailey in London to get you back and keep you. Your adoptive parents did not know until theyturned up in court - as Mr and Mrs M - that I was fighting to keep you. At that time I didn't have the money - the knowledge or the information to get you back. Your adoptive parents earned much more than I did and the court found it to be in your interest to stay with them and not with me. It has taken me all this time to get my life together to the stage where I want contact with you if you want to have contact with me. I have been trying to contact you for more than two years now and hope that one of the many ways I have tried to find you will work. Even to know that you are safe and well would mean a great deal to me. Since your birth - I have had several more children: you have a sister of nineteen - a brother of eighteen and a second sister of fifteen. They all know about you and we have spoken often of you. I have a photo of you when you were five. It is in my living room and has always been there. If anyone asks who the photo is of - the kids tell the person its their older brother.
