- I am trying to find my birth mother Helen Joan Fost**. I was born in Plymouth at Freedom Fields Hospital on 28 June 1966 and was adopted 6 months later. I was told my birth mother was a student aged 21. I believe she lived locally in Torquay at the time. My family and I would dearly like to meet my birth mother and reassure her that she made the very best decision for me. I grew up in a wonderful family and have been really blessed. If my birth mother wished it, I would very much like to be reunited with her and for her to be a part of her life.
