- This person is my mother's biological father. He and my Granny had my mum when they were only very young and had to give my mum up for adoption. We found contact with my Granny (Dianne Rimm**) who unfortunately died this year, so all we now have of my mum's father is his name. My mum was named Karen at birth which was since changed to Elaine when she was adopted. Mum was born and adopted in Manchester.
