| About HelpMeFind
HelpMeFind.org.uk was specifically designed to assist with the process of finding a loved one, or a lost contact. Initially, to assist all adopted, fostered and missing individuals, the site has since expanded, to also include all lost contacts within the UK.
The site is not a direct matching or tracing service, but our Search Condenser will assist in the actual physical search. A users’ search will trigger results based on the criteria they specified, or the nearest criteria held on the portal, at that time.
It is up to the user, upon viewing the search results, to make a decision on the likelihood that a particular Profile is potentially owned by the lost contact they are seeking. Should they then wish to make contact, they simply post a message, we vet that message and remove all contact details before remotely contacting the profile owner, that there is a message received. A flashing envelope icon is then triggered on the site.
As HelpMeFind.org.uk continually evolves, the site offers more search criteria to improve the user experience, for example searching by categories or dates or key word, such as names.
